PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Dilfo acted as a member of the multi-party IPD contract to provide the full mechanical scope including Plumbing, Ventilation, HVAC, Fire Protection, Building Automation Systems and Mechanical Insulation for the new construction of a 100,000 square foot building and renovation of two existing buildings for use by the Royal Canadian Dragoons Regiment.
As the new home of the Royal Canadian Dragoons Regiment, this building serves many purposes, and needed specialized construction in various spaces to meet the many needs of the regiment. Space includes vehicle & equipment storage, classrooms and offices.
Acting as a member of the Integrated Project Delivery team, DILFO was a key member in the planning, scheduling, and execution of all aspects of this project. Our responsibilities included design input and assistance to the mechanical consultant, as well as the production of fully-coordinated 3d modeling of mechanical systems from our in-house CAD & BIM team. DILFO’s input helped to ensure the smooth progression of this project, even during the difficulties of the Covid-19 pandemic.
